Subject: The Move- Dec.22- Opening Medicine Song
Hello Dancers,
On Fri. Dec. 22, we will offer a special Solstice Move. We are honoured that
Brenda MacIntyre, Medicine Song Woman, will open the Solstice circle. We
encourage you to arrive at 7:30 for the Solstice event to hear the gift of
Brenda's beautiful voice. All proceeds from the Solstice Move go to Anduhyaun,
local emergency shelter for assaulted First Nation's Women and Children, located
on Spadina Rd. Please give generously in the box, and/or bring some gifts for
the women and children. Toys, chocolate, and body care products are always
welcome at shelters. The last two years we have donated over $300.00, and some
gifts for the women and children on behalf of the Move Collective. They are so
appreciative to recieve our presents and donation on Christmas day. To learn
more about the shelter: www.anduhyaun.org
2007 National Aboriginal Achievement Awards nominee Brenda MacIntyre is a Juno
award-winning singer, Native American traditional drummer and inspirational
speaker.  Brenda's website is www.getbutterflied.com

See you dancing,
