Hi!

I failed to find documentation for available tokens for Filename
Pattern.

I want to store music by genre. I wish my filename pattern to be:

tag\artist\year album\number track
Lounge\De-Phazz\2005 Natural Fake\10 Car Eats Town.mp3

This is gonna create duplicate artist folders in different genres, so
TheLastRipper should remember where he saved artists previously.

Do you consider this feature worth implementing?

Hi,

I don't think this is really useful, because a song can have more than
one tag. Thus, your sheme would lead to much redundancy.

Tags and lyrics should get stored in the files directly. You then
could sort the files with your music player.

Surely, each song can have more than one tags.

BUT TheLastRipper saves only one tag for each song — the one it was
listened with.

So, if i store all artists in one folder, i will be unable to listen
to, for instance, all lounge tunes by tag 'lounge', because some of
them will be saved with other tags like chillount.

There is a problem indeed. What i initially suggested isn't of course
a solid solution. But there should be a solution developed.

Can TheLastRipper extract all tags from Last.fm for each tune, not
only the tag it was listened with?

Can you think of another solution?
