Hi

Recently FTC drafted new disclosure norms for bloggers when reviewing products they are paid for. Read below for additional details:

FTC Publishes Final Guides Governing Endorsements, Testimonials:

FTC to Bloggers: Disclose Freebies or Face $11,000 Fine:

http://www.scribd.com/doc/20641197/091005endorsementguidesfnnotice    The actual notice is posted there.

What do you guys think about this? Should these norms be implemented here in India as well?

Cheers

Disclosure and transparency are always good things - both for bloggers (keeps 'em honest) and for consumers/readers.
I've had this information on my blog for a while - will be adding some more stuff to it shortly.
