Hey there Rud,
As part of the recruiting effort for supporting the 10 for Texas, I’m looking also for some people that can help by going and dropping off information sheets personally to operators that live in The Woodlands.
I figure since they’re already in the woodlands, it should be easy to get some local volunteers, and, raise awareness about the club at the same time.
I have prepared a double-sided info sheet, and, I’ve put together a google map based tool that shows approximate geographical locations with color coded markers to:
- Indicate whether they’ve been visited already / about to be, to help make sure we don’t double up on visits,
- Be able to optimize the time spent by visiting groups of operators that are located near to each other vs the alternative of zig sagging back and forth.
Would you be interested / able to help with this?
The information sheet is two-fold: one is targeting the 10 for Texas, the other is The Woodlands Amateur Radio Club.
Let me know if you are willing to help!
Regards,
Peter
