Boat Restrictions

1) Are there any restrictions in the type of boat which can be
used in “team” event? I know you have said it MUST be a double but are
there any other restrictions? Are K2 Kayaks allowed? Surely someone
using a K2 would blow the field away immediately and would be an
unfair advantage over others.

There are no major restrictions on the type of boat. If a competitor
brings a fast boat, they have a fast boat! Boats rented from An Turas
Beag will be Canadians. If unsure of your boat, please contact An
Turas Beag to be sure.

hi

As some of us have to work on fri, i wont have our team kayak in kerry
til 9 or 10pm. Bikes and other gear will be down down in good time for
registration, but unfortunately, my teammate cant carry our boat. Will
there be somebody available to register the kayak at that stage???
