I went to the famous Philosphers walk in Kyoto and I spent a few
minutes being smug because it was just a bunch of tourists all being
smug at how smart they are. We all kept glancing at each other trying
to show how smart we were to be philosophising about the meaning of
life. I guess I am just human like everybody else :) Anyway, I took my
time and walked the path and earnestly tried to contemplate the
meaning of it all. Eventually the smugness left me and a bit of
humility came to me.
I came up with no reveleations but I did take this one little video...
hmm... makes you wonder.

About the Philosphers Walk:
It was a daily path along a small canal that the philospher Nishida
Kitaro (1870-1945)would walk and contemplate philosphical things. He
was a professor at Kyoto University. His work was predominanlty
involved in a merging of Eastern and Western philosophies.
Its a beautiful walk and the canal is lined with Cherry blossoms that
bloom in Mid April. They say that when these cherry blossoms bloom
this is quite possibly the most beautiful spot in all of Japan
