A Panel of four people from the Austin Film Festival ( http://www.austinfilmfestival.com/new/) will our Guest Speakers at the Wednesday October 14 Mixer. The Austin Film Festival is dedicated to furthering the art, craft, and business of screenwriting and filmmaking by providing unique, year-round cultural events and services, enhancing public awareness and participation, and encouraging dynamic and long-lasting community partnerships. This year's Festival runs from October 22 through October 29 and offers numerous panels and discussion groups with major players in the industry, pitch sessions, great opportunities for networking and hundreds of films and shorts of all kinds.

The Panel will discuss these and other aspects of the Festival, including volunteering opportunities, how the films are selected, the screenwriting competition and more. The names of the Panelists will be posted shortly. Join us on Wednesday October 14, get information about the Festival and network.

The Network Austin Mixer meets on the second and last Wednesdays of each month.
