mvn jetty:run does no longer work without tweaking settings.xml

I hade to add the plugin group

<pluginGroup>org.mortbay.jetty</pluginGroup>
as posted here: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/JETTY/Maven+Jetty+Plugin.

The failure message I got before was:
The plugin 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-jetty-plugin' does not
exist or no valid
version could be found

Maybe someone wants to add this hint to the book?
