Ooohhh fun! Peacock bass 0:53 behind the big shoal of Festivums.
Then a shoal of big silver characins at 1:15. After some Fishbase
gazing I'm going with Brycon melanopterus, called Jatuarana in Brazil
but it's a bit of a guess. They are apparently good eating. At 1:19
a Leporinus spp, possibly Leporinus friderici (three-spot Leporinus).
Great shot of discus at 2:05 with another cichlid briefly in the
frame, a small Geophagus spp. perhaps? I can't see it clearly enough.
Severum in the next clip with a discus (brown?) at 2:23. Third fish
in the frame at 2:30 looks like a wolf fish (hoplias spp?) I'm
probably wrong. More Leporinus and at 3:48 a flagtail fish
(Semaprochilodus taeniurus). More of the silvery characins and
Leporinus at 3:53, more flagtails, and another peacock bass at 4:03.
At 4:21 a Homo sapiens var. aquaticus. ;-) The shoal of blue discus
at the end is amazing.
Maybe I actually got a few right. ;-)
