Going to sing with the band tonight- in case I didn't mention- I like
to howl with a few friends who have formed a neighborhood band- and
quite talented I might add, so yes, Jim and I fill in occasionally on
Friday night and jam with the band! But anyway... dinner was in a bit
of a hurry since I had to work, get dinner on ya da ya da....But I
finally made a delicious polenta- Yes! Donna, Kathy and the Italians
would have been proud! Stone gound polenta with chicken stock and
light cream and grated locatelli cheese and yes you got it- plenty of
cold creamy butter! Yum- I mean seriously how can you go wrong with
those ingredients- you know what I'm sayin'!!! I served the polenta
UNDER-very important for those who know nothing of this wonderfully
comforting food of the GODS, large, juicy shrimp that were sauteed in
garlic, and olive oil/butter mixture, parsley and of course a large
splash perhaps a WAVE of sherry- OH WOW- Jim said top ten meals for
sure! We savored the meal and then felt guilty for not sharing some
with the band...so off we went ..plate and saran wrap..hugging this
wonderful meal. And let me say- of course they fell in love too. It's
all good!!!! I am looking for date night ideas-can't wait to cook away-
thinking of the tuna and wasabi in a maple soy glaze....it's in this
months Bon Appetite!! Talk to you all soon--Bye the way..Red tail hawk
still healing and doing quite well!!! Renee
