I recently taught some of my students the Cornell notetaking method,
which I gather is now pretty popular internationally, and they said
they would like to buy notebooks already set up for Cornell-style
notetaking, rather than prepping ordinary notebook pages themselves by
drawing lines in the appropriate places. It struck me that I would
like that, too. Has anyone ever come across this kind of stationery?

As an alternative, you can find templates online that you can print -
google Cornell PDF or Cornell notes template.

Hope this helps,

Thanks, Tiffany. Yes, that's how I'm doing it now. Unfortunately, it
makes everything loose leaf, and the students here (in Japan) tend to
like using actual notebooks.

Levenger sells notepads and notebooks online. They're not cheap, but
their Circa line has the added benefit of allowing students to easily
move pages around. I wish I had that when *I* was a student. I would
have saved up for it if necessary.

I believe Levenger gets their Circa line from Rollabind ( http://rollabind.com/
). Probably your best bet is to print your own Cornell notes pages and
spring for a specialty paper punch. If you have many students that
want to go this route they could chip in together and buy the notebook
making supplies in bulk (covers, rings, etc.). I've also seen a more
basic level Rollabind notebook at Staples (was in the $10-20 range).

You might want to try the Dynamic Template from DIYPlanner -
http://www.diyplanner.com/node/6210.

You can print out calendar pages and notes pages. The Cornell page is
very good.
