I just got the monthly Bass Emporium email newsletter. Included is an
appeal for contributions to the Chuck Rainey medical fund.

Some of his basses were sold late last year - now I understand why - I
hadn't heard of his difficulties previously.
My local NPR stations (many of them!) are gearing up to ask me and
other members for another round of support. Maybe when they call, I'll
tell them I'd be delighted to continue supporting them if they would
consider contributing toward the sustenance of a living library.
