I have just completed the upload of the tesseract-2.04.tar.gz source archive, and a corresponding tesseract-2.04.exe.tar.gz containing prebuilt executables for windows.
This source archive corresponds to revision 279 in svn.
NOTE that the 2008 vcproj and sln files for vc++2008 are obsoleted and not included in the source archive. The non-numbered files should be used instead. vc++2005 is no longer supported.

I would like to thank all that have contributed by way of patches, bug reports, testing, and additional language data. I apologize if your patch or bug has been passed over this time. Version 3.00 will fix a lot of these, but will introduce new problems of its own.

Version 3.00 will go alpha in svn by the middle of July, and hopefully much sooner, depending on the ease of the port to windows. After a suitable period of testing by the early adopters, it will also go live as a download.

Ray,
Congratulations. At last, you have successfully released version 2.04.
Just now I downloaded all the files from the download section of wiki. Unzipped all tar.gz successfully. I found that unzipped downloaded tesseract2.04.exe.tar.gz contains all seven exe files.
It means zip file received earlier under Yahoo might have corrupted or damaged.

Today itself I shall perform beta-testing and feed back to you.

I wish to have exe files for the Analytic tool 5.2.1 available for experiment and feedback to you. No one is able to succeeded to generate the exe  files for analyatic tool.
With Warmest  Regards,
