Hi all,
i'm new in tesseract, i would try reading a barcode with tesseract, it's
possible or no?
If not, there's another free library how tesseract?

No, tesseract is OCR, for text. You could try ZXing
(http://code.google.com/p/zxing/), they might have a version of their
barcode reader that you can use.
