Tessa IM will be a cross-platform lightweight instant messaging application. It should be able to run on most desktop and mobile platforms by being modular and allowing user experience to be built around a simple, lightweight and portable core. Its Jabber component will be built using quality facilities emerging from the extensible Prosody IM server.
