Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that Dr. Andrew Bernstein, one of the most energetic
lecturers in Objectivism, will be giving a talk on campus this
Thursday at 8pm in the Art-Sociology building (ASY), room 2309. We
also are planning to invite club members and anyone else who's
interested to join us at Plato's Diner after the lecture to sit and
talk with Dr. Bernstein informally. The lecture is titled "Rational
Egoism in Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead" and will discuss Rand's
expression of the philosophy through her plot and conflict, including
a detailed analysis of the five main characters - Howard Roark, Peter
Keating, Gail Wynand, Dominique Francon, and Ellsworth Toohey.

In other news, I met the president of the Philosophy Club today, and
he has invited someone from the Objectivist club to come to their
meeting this Thursday at 5:30 to give a very short presentation on
Objectivism and discuss the ideas. If anyone's interested, let me
know by tomorrow and I'll get back to him. Their meeting is in
Jimenez, but I'm not sure of the room number.

Best,
David
