When Start Process and immediately not getting People Activity Task Id(PA Task Id) through Task Management service

Hi,
I am using the tempo SOA Task Management service to start prorcess
and retrieve People Activities from j2EE application. I am able to
start the process and retrieve the task created.

But the problem here i found is when i start the process, immediately
i want to retrieve the task in the same transaction, it is not getting
the task id.

used the following apis to start the process and get the task id

init - to start the process
getAvailableTasks - to get the task list

After some time, if i call getAvailableTasks, it is retreving the task
id.

Please help me to get task id immediately after the start process.

Is it possible to return taskId from init api itself. Actually init
api is returning document. what is the use of that document
returned ? I debug that. But it does not return any value.

Hi Manesh,

Looks like this email got skipped from my inbox somehow.

Basically it's not possible to retrieve the task coming to your inbox, because this is completely asynchronous and non-systematic.
You could have an init task that spawns a process, but does not create any user task there after but a process that just calls a set of services.
Also you would not even know who that task could be assigned to.
