Dear Kiran Kumar Chava garu,

I just want to mention how people use the word line and straight line in the chat a while back.  I joined because of your invite and because I have respect for you.
But the way  it was responded " it is time to brush up your basics"  by one of the members (and you did not censure him) is highly derogatory and insulting to me.  I am a post graduate in Applied mathematics from AU  and did it  in1972. And I have written articles to children to make maths easy.  More than anything, you teach your chat members etiquette if they don't  use respectable language with others.

Please don't invite me to join your chat anymore.

నాకు అశోక్ తెలీదు. చాట్ లైవ్ కాబట్టి నేను సాంకేతికంగా సెన్సార్ చెయ్యలేను. కాకుంటే ఇంకోసారి ఇలా జరక్కుండా అశోక్ కు చెపుతాను.
మీ అనుభవం, చదువు ప్రస్తుత తెలుగు సమాజానికి చాలా అవసరం, ఇలాంటి సంఘటనలు జరుగుతునే ఉంటాయండి మనసు రాయి చేసుకోని మనం చేయవలసిన పనిపై దృష్టి కేంద్రీకరించడమే. మామూలు చర్చా వేదికల్లో ప్రవర్తించినట్టు అంతర్జాల చర్చా వేదికల్లో మనుషులు ప్రవర్తించడం లేదు. నేను నిజంగా నిస్సహాయుడిని. ఇటువంటివి పక్కకు నెట్టి ముందుకు వెళదాము అని మాత్రం నేను చెప్పగలను.

Thank you so much for your prompt reply.  We can express our disgreements in a live chat. But can never use abusive language on others. It amounts to disrespect to the individual. Perhaps you can use such language with your friend, not with the person you never knew.

I will try to forget what had happened and join when the hurt heals.

It is not the question of age only ,though that is important.It is a
question of decency and manners.We can forcefully state our
opinions,but we should never cross the limits of decency and use
abusive language whatever be the age or social status of the other
person .
