AP govt makes singing Telugu song mandatory in convent schools

Hyderabad , Oct 29 The Andhra Pradesh government today asked English medium convents in the state to render a song hailing Telugu culture without fail in the school assemblies in addition to the national anthem.

" Private convents should make children sing "Maa Telugu Talliki Malle Poodanda" song from henceforth," School Education Minister D Manikya Vara Prasad told reporters.

The government took the decision in the wake of a convent school in Kadapa district punishing two children for speaking in Telugu. Placards, with the words "I will never speak in Telugu" written on them, were hung around their necks as punishment.

The action of the school evoked strong protests from outfits working for promotion of Telugu.

The government's decision, however, was sharply criticised by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) that says the song "Maa Telugu Talliki" is against Telangana culture.

కేసిఆర్ కి తెలుగుతల్లి కూడా పరాయిది అయినప్పుడు మా తెలుగుతల్లికి పాట అలా అనిపించడంలో విచిత్రం ఏముంది?

ఇదొక మంచివిషయం. కానీ ఎంతవఱకు అమలవుతుందో చూడాలి. కానీ అప్పుడే ఆంగ్లవ్యామోహ ప్రచారక పాఠశాలలవాళ్ళు ఈ జీవోని తమకి శిక్షగా అభివర్ణిస్తున్నారు. తమది ఇంగ్లీషు మీడియమ్ అయినంతమాత్రాన తామేదో ఇంగ్లండు నుంచి దిగొచ్చినట్లు తమకి, తమ విద్యార్థులకీ అసలు తెలుగు పలకడం చేతకాదన్నట్లు (ఇళ్ళల్లో ఏం మాట్లాడతారో ఆ పిల్లలు) , అసలు తాము ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లో భాగమే కాదన్నట్లు తాము ఒక స్వతంత్ర State within state అయినట్లు మాట్లాడేస్తున్నారు. నేను చెప్పిన చట్టం ఎంత అవసరమో ఇప్పటికైనా మన మిత్రులంతా గ్రహించి ఉంటారు.

చాలా మంచివిషయం. కానీ అమలవుతుందో లేదో చూడాలి. నాకర్థం కానిది ఒక్కటే ఇక్కడ, తెలంగాణ వాళ్ళు మాట్లాడేది కూడా తెలుగే కదా ఇక ఈ పాట ఒప్పుకోకపోవడమెందుకు? వాళ్ళ తెలుగు యాస కొంచం వేరు అంతే. అర్థమొకటే కదా తెలుగు తల్లి వాళ్ళ యాసలోకూడా తెలుగుతల్లే కదా. బాష ఒక్కటే మరి ఇంకా ఈ లిటిగేషన్ ఎంటో.

జీవో ఎలా ఉండాలో ఎవరైనా చెప్పగలరా ? నాకు తెలిసి ఒకే ఒక కటిన మైన నిబందనను మన ప్రభుత్వం అములు చేయగలిగితే తప్పకుండ మనం మన తెలుగు భాషను కాపాడినట్టే .

The thing about nationalistic or separatist feelings as opposed to
universal brotherhood, is that you never know where to start.

^ ప్రారంభించిన విషయం ముఖ్యమైనదనే కొనసాగించడం
జరుగుతున్నది . వ్యక్తిగతంగా అయితే ఇక్కడ తెలుగు
బ్లాగు గుంపులో ఇతర విషయాలని చర్చించదానికి నేను
ఇష్టపడను [తాబాసు మాష్టారు నన్ను క్షమించాలి] .

గూగులు , యాహూ ... వంటి గుంపులలో సొంత
మెయిళ్లనుండి ప్రతిస్పందించే సౌకర్యమున్నది . అయితే
సాంకేతిక లోపాలో - కొందరు సభ్యులకి దీనిని సరిగ్గా
వినియోగించడం తెలియకనో - తరుచూ ఒక విషయంలోకి
చేరవలసిన అంశం ఒక కొత్త చర్చగా ప్రకటించబడుతూ
ఉంటుంది . అలాగే పూర్తి చర్చని గమనించకుండానే
కొందరు ఆవేశంతో ప్రతిస్పందిస్తూ ఉంటారు ... ఇలాంటి
వాటిని అన్నిటినీ నిర్వాహకులు సరిగ్గా సమన్వయపరుచుకుంటూ
నిర్వహించగలిగితేనే ఒక గుంపు సజావుగా కొనసాగగలుగుతుంది

మా తెలుగు తల్లికి ఆంధ్రవాళ్ళు స్వార్ధంతో అందరిమీద రుద్దిన పాట. మేమది పాడం. అందెశ్రీ రాసిన తెలంగాణా పాటే పాడుతాం అని తెలంగాణా రచయితలు కూడా నిన్న టీవీలో చెప్పినట్లున్నారు.

మన తెలుగు ఎందుకు సరియైన గుర్తింపు పొందడం లేదో ఇప్పుడు అర్థమవుతుంది . అసలు విషయం వదిలేసి వేరే విషయాల లోకి ప్రవేసిచడమే. తెలుగు గురుంచి చెర్చ రాజయకీయం కురుంచి కాదు . తెలుగు గురుంచి కే సి ఆర్ అడుగు అప్పుడు చెపుతాడు .

భాషని ఆర్థికంగాను, రాజకీయంగాను ఒక పథకం ప్రకారం పైవర్గాలవారు ఉద్దేశపూర్వకంగా అణచివేస్తున్న రోజుల్లో పాతకాలం మాదిరి అమాయకంగా భాష యొక్క అంతర్గత విషయాలకి పరిమితమై చర్చించడం, ఛ ! నాకు ఇష్టం లేదు. తెలుగుభాషా సమస్యలకి అనేకకోణాలున్నాయి. ఎవరికీ తెలియని ఎవరి దృష్టికీ రాని, ఎవరూ గ్రహించని చీకటికోణాలున్నాయి. వాటన్నింటినీ సమగ్రంగా, సాకల్యంగా, కూలంకషంగా గమనంలో ఉంచుకొని తెలుగుని సర్వతోముఖంగా ఉద్ధరించే ప్రణాళిక గలవారునాక్కావాలి. ఎందుకంటే నేనలాంటివాణ్ణి.

తెలంగాణా వాళ్ళు తెలుగు మాట్లాడారా. తెలుగు భాషను తెలుగు వారిని నిజాం పాలనలో తోక్కివేస్తున్నరనే కదా నిజాం కు విరుద్ధం గా పోరాడింది. లేకపోతె కే సి ఆర్ ఉర్దూ తల్లి భక్తుదేమో. ఇక్కడ ఆంధ్ర తల్లి అనలేదుగా ! తెలుగు మాట్లాడే వారి అందరి తల్లి తెలుగు తల్లి. కే సి ఆర్ ను తెలుగులో

మాట్లాడ వద్దు అనండి లేక తెలంగాణా లో తెలుగు కాకుండా వేరే భాష మాట్లాడమనండి గొడవ వదిలిపోతుంది.
