హాయి విహారి,
Good to know that you are able to install Pothana, Eenadu font on HTC. Is it an unlocked phone?
(నేను ఆంగ్లం లొ వ్రాస్తున్నాను 'coz i'm comfortable with that..plz don't mind )
Please see a related post some time ago:

I am guessing that is because it's been locked by AT&T-Cingular. My colleague tells me that he has seen Devanagari ( Hindi, Marathi ) fonts on Nokia phones in India. So i think phones being sold in India support Telugu unicode.
Could you try viewing this mobile Telugu site in pocket IE on HTC?

http://www.operamini.com/ , Opera Mobile
http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/products/ which are currently regarded as the best mobile browsers.
Of course ,
Mobile Firefox
should not be far off!
If i get hold of a Windows OS device, I will test the unicode font for Outlook.
అవును Sprint బ్యాండ్విడ్త్ బాగుంటుంది ...and they will be rolling out WiMax in the future!
This is the first forum where Telugu unicode / display issues for mobile devices are being discussed. Hoping that this is just the beginning, and we will lead the efforts in getting Telugu font display standardized on all mobile platforms and devices.

Kiran
