Here is an informative piece on Kovvali, the most prolific writer in
Telugu. Sri Marutirao rightly stresses Kovvali's influence in making
many people "literate" those times.
P.S. Has any one seen Sridhar's cartoon in today's (7th October)
eenaaDu? I am greatly impressed at his film knowledge :-) Wow, he knows
about కాడెద్దులు ఎకరం నేల (1960), చూడామణి (1941) and
పృథ్వీపుత్ర (1933).

I read Jagajjana (about 21 or 22 books out of the 25 ones). Never knew that "Bhayankar" and "Kovvali" were the same till I read the article. ? But what a pity. such a prolific writer had to undergo such trials. Very touching indeed. ? Best wishes Hemantha Kumar Pamarthy?
