Is there any Softphone for PTCL

Is there any softphone which can support PTCL local numbers, with following features:

1: call recordings.
2: can configure 2 or more phone in on pc(softphone like sip trunk in ip phones)
3: can save history of calls

Or is there another solution like PBX or something else if anyone like to suggest i wil b thankful

You can ask any of the Local Loop operators, many have offerings like this. Sadly, they don't market it too much.

You can setup local PBX but will need SIP-PSTN gateway (SPA3102 / SPA3000) in combination with a PBX solution. Read on Elastix, AsteriskNow & TRIXBOX see which one fulfills your needs. If you dont know how to configure these you can allways contact companies who provide these solutions.

Sir from where i will get these Adapters? and which one will you prefer that i can configure PTCL local number on PC without using any phoneset.

Both are the same. Goto hafeez center and ask for SPA3102 or SPA3000. Both are the same no difference. As far as PBX is concerned if you are using linux you can use elastix, or blue.box both are very easy to configure with web interfaces.

P.S. If you are unable to find both these adapters just ask for SIP-PSTN gateway. Just remember not to mix it with an ATA device which works the other way arround.
