VOIP Conference

Hi,

I am looking for a voip provider who has break-in numbers in Pakistan, Bahrain and India. My requirement is to be able to do a conference call which I can host (IN UK) and joiners can join from Pakistan, Bahrain and India using break-in numbers (Joiners can not use VOIP at their end). I can run asterisks on my side if needed to terminate calls. Does any one knows or uses any providers with such facility ?

Riz:

You're looking for what are normally called DIDs. A number of operators (local and LDI) in Pakistan will provide you with these routed over SIP.
WorldCALL forexample can offer these legally as they have an LDI license and LL operations as well. Similarly India and Bangladesh, you'll have to look for operations.

A word of advice, if you're going to do conferencing, then avoid asterisk's meetme, and opt for freeswitch instead. Far, far superior.
