Hmmm very surprising no one seems to know anything about this? No one uses
iPhone/Nokia 3G in Pakistan?

EVDO devices have just come in vogue in Pakistan which are primarily EVDO
USB devices. These are being used as a result of WLL service offering, and
is not to be confused with the mobile phone services which is yet to be
augmented with 3G after relevant license awards. So it'll be some time
before the 3G phones like the ones you mentioned will hit the market.

It will be interesting if someone could reveal the most recent data on EVDO
device sales in the market and forecasts.

Regards,
Adnan

Hi Rizwan,

PTCL is providing EvDO network, Its a CDMA based technology, as far as
karachi concerned PTCL has total of 110 cell sites (CDMA1x) in which 86 are
only evdo sites, (means these sites are 1x+ EvDO Rev A commissioned),So
whole karachi is not as fully covered as it should be ...
As far as monile device query is concerned PTC is giving USB and PCMCI cards
etc... but  I think Iphone and any other vendor device (which is CDMA1x and
EvDO phone ) could be configured for this network  as I have used different
vendor mobile phones for PTC  network .

Thanks !

Regards...
