Problems with EMF

We have noted that installing EMF via the update site on a Linux or OS
X can lead to problems so we advise you to download the zip file and
install it manually.

These problems may also exist under Windows, but we have nor
investigated them. If you have any feedback regarding WIndows it would
be most welcome.

I installed EMF through the use of the update site under windows 2000
Professional and I think it worked out ok.
