Mother Board Battery Complaining on VRC

Hi all,
My VRClimber is booting up fine - gets past the Tectrix logo screen
then complains of a dead battery. Any ideas?
Are those batteries something I can replace?

I haven't looked, so I'm not 100% certain, but the heart of the Tectrix
VR machines is a standard 386 PC (or is a 286?). The battery in it
should be a standard model, and should be easily replaced.
