Glad to find this forum. I became addicted to using the Tectrix VR
recumbent bike at my local health club. I would ride it an hour to
two hours a day playing "Tank Commander" This is the only exercise
bike that I could put in that kind of time pedaling without getting
bored. This bike is great for cardio and leg strength. It's a great
substitute for running. I've done 22 marathons and my legs are
starting to get beat-up so this is a great alternative.
The club decided to get rid of both their Textrix VR bikes and the
manager even told me I could have them for free. Unfortunately, they
tossed them. I've found them at the Comfort Store for $3,420
delivered but I'd like to get them under 2K if possible.
The bikes at the club were often broke, mostly from my over-use:) So
I'm concerned about future repairs. I'm really most interested in the
Tank Commander game. Any info would be appreciated....Rick
