Subject: What is a Wiki?

Common Craft is a website that has a GREAT collection of videos that
explain in plain language what many different tools are - wikis,
podcasting, social networking etc.
I strongly encourage you to have a look at these videos if you are even
a little bit unsure as to what these tools are. Here are links to
particular videos, but you can just visit the site itself to see what
they all are (http://www.commoncraft.com)

 Thanks Jess,
This site could be really useful. Our Indonesian network in Geelong is focusing on "wikispaces" in our first meeting next term so we might have a look at this website.
Regards, Richard

Subject: Tsunami

One of my year 12 students have expressed an interest in looking at the tsunami in Banda Aceh as a detailed study topic, the event, warning, the results, what the indoensian governements response was then and now.  How the people of Banda Aceh can move forward now. do they still need assistance etc.....
But i don't have any resources off hand - does anyone have any that i could copy?  OR could offer me some direction in where i can find some?

Also Jess i am loving wordle at the momment and recommending it to lots of staff members :)

Many thanks
