Hey all-

The time has come to find a nice home for the bike that got me started.  I'm looking for a good home for my 2001 Giant OCR 3.  $150 obo.  It's old but solid, with rather low mileage for the age.  A good bike for a beginner.  It was barely ridden until 2010, but was always kept clean.  If you know of anyone that might be interested, please feel free to pass this along.  Team members and family get first dibs.  Here are the specs:

Bike:  2001 Giant OCR 3
  • Miles:  ~2,200
  • Size:  Medium (50 cm seat tube, fits about 5' 6" - 5' 9")
  • Colors:  Yellow/Black
  • Frame Construction:  TIG-welded
  • Frame Tubing Material:  Giant ALUXX 6061 T-6 Aluminum, butted
  • Fork material:  Chromoly
  • Weight:  Approx. 28 lbs (with saddle bag, pedals, mini-pump, and cages)
Components:
  • Brakeset:  Tektro Aluminum Dual Pivot brakes
  • Shift Levers:  Shimano Sora STI Dual Control
  • Front Derailleur:  Shimano Sora
  • Rear Derailleur:  Shimano Sora
  • Crankset:  FSA Gossomer (I think), 30/42/52
  • Pedals:  Shimano PD-M520L MTB (~500 miles)
  • Rear Cogs:  8-speed, 12-25
  • Seat Post:  Aluminum micro-adjust, 27.2mm diameter
  • Saddle:  Specialized (don't remember the exact model; old, will probably want to replace it)
  • Handlebar: Aluminum
  • Handlebar Tape:  Planet Bike Comfort GEL (black cork, brand new, just replaced)
  • Stem:  Aluminum
  • Headset:  1" threadless Integrated Ahead
Wheels:
  • Hubs:  Aluminum
  • Wheels:  AXEL Rims DR-13
  • Tires:  700x23c.  Rear was recently replaced (has about 400 miles), front could use replacing, but still handles okay.
Accessories:
  • Water Bottle Cages:  Aluminum (x2)
  • Computer:  Cateye Mity3 - CC-MT300 (can provide PDF of instruction booklet)
  • Saddle Bag:  Inertia Designs Pro Wedge (fits 2 tubes, 2-3 Co2, bike tool, etc., 1 year old)
  • Frame Pump:  Topeak Pocket Rocket Master Blaster Bike Pump (brand new, only used once)
Last full tune-up (including repacking the bottom bracket) was in August, 2010.  If you don't have SPD bike shoes, I'll throw in steel cage pedals w/clips & straps (so it can be ridden with regular sneakers).  I'll also throw in a couple of water bottles, and a few tubes that I have for those 700x23c tires.  All that's missing is a potential rider with a helmet, and they're good to roll.

Hit me up if anyone is interested.

-Tony

Hey all-

Thanks for the interest in Old Yelleh'. It's found a good home and hopefully we'll have a new rider!
