No one else on the TALO eGroup is a blogger?
The other bloggers on TALO eGroup don't want to share their blog?
No one reads email from TALO eGroup?
Everyone's too busy to click through and copy paste a URL?
Blogging is a passing fad?

To post you have to remember a password and you forgot it even though you posted, so it didn’t work?

You work on too many machines to remember all yr passwords to post one comment?

Prioritise stuff: if it doesn’t work for me, move on. Sorry you were a victim of my working stylee.

A heap of other reasons, I suspect.

I just took five minutes to do the relevant account finagling and it is now posted!

Does that then prove that other bloggers on TALO eGroup do want to share their blog?
Kylie reads email from TALO eGroup?

Everyone's too busy to click through and copy paste a URL? Not Kylie!

Blogging is a passing fad? Well, one of my blogs is 2years old.

</cheeky mood>

Leighs extreme you should participate style works on me!

Thanks,
Kylie

Subject: :: TALO :: Re: Who Here Has a Blog?

So far I have caught one blog from Pete in Adelaide: http://fliteblog.blogspot.com/
Blogs are so interesting, and Pete has a very interesting post on how easy it is to hack IE's security.

But Pete's the only one sharing his blog! What does this mean?

If you have a blog that you're willing to share, I'd love to see it in the comments of:

Hello again all.

You know, I estimate that I have personally demonstrated blogging to
more than 200 people since late last year, but I only know of 2 who are
now blogging.

I'm concerned that all the information I subscribe to is from the
Northern Hemisphere. While this is great for my "world" view. I don't
know much about what is going on in Australia. I don't even know how
many people in TALO are blogging.

So I'm hoping those who are, won't mind dropping into the TALO blog and
posting their blog URL in as a comment.

The reason I'm asking for you to do it this way, is so we don't get a
flood of TALO eGroup mail.

Hope to hook some good fish.

Yep I am in a similar boat, I have had a blog for a couple of years but not used it to any extent, although I did log in to it yesterday.  I will be using it shortly but I need to fix up some the account details as they are out of date.

I’ll get back to you

I do have a blog but it is a closed group involving a number of groups, once all the members agree I will make it open.

Gee it's been quite in here lately!

A few of us TALO members have been working away on the BlendedLearning Wiki resource...which you too can use and even update if you'd like! Here's a quick update of what's been going on:

The Getting Started with Blogging in Education workshop has been updated and improved, including new Facilitator tips - providing ideas and suggestions for running the workshop in your organisation. You can use this resource freely and even update it with your own experiences running this (or similar) blogging workshops!

Work on the new page Sourcing Content to teach and learn is currently in progress - you might find some great free resources to blend with your classes here, or you can even update this page with some resources that you've found useful!!

The page Learning with a News Reader can help you or your colleagues source current content in your area of expertise. It's got some great links to step-by-step tutorials and you can even improve this page with links/resources or experiences of your own!

You'll find all this and more at http://blendedlearning.wikispaces.org/ Did I mention you too can update anything on this site by simply clicking Edit? ;-)

Hopefully people will find this a useful resource... and if not, please let us know how it could be improved!
-Michael

(PS: if anyone else can put together a better site icon, send it this way!)
