Technology at scale in developing countries

Hello everyone.

I work at a strategy consulting firm where we are in the process of
getting a fact base together on Education; especially in government
schools in poorer Asian economies; with the longer term objective of
making meaningful change happen.

I have been a fly on the wall on the group and curiously interested in
many of the interesting discussions that take place on here.

I wonder if some of you will be able to point me towards maningful use
of technology in public schools, especially in the 'developing world'.
Technology towards all elements of ed; assessment, pedagogy,
information systems (reporting), curriculum is interesting to us.
