Hi folks.

I just found out yesterday that the Northern Spark people are going to be setting up a table for the May Day Celebration in Powderhorn park on Sunday (tomorrow).

Sarah from Spark asked if she could borrow the little tiny trebuchet of doom for their table; in conversation with her, it turns out that both she and I would  be super excited to have one or two of our larger siege engines parked near their table, i.e. the foshaybuchet and / or the ballista of doom.

Here is where I need some help.. I don't have a vehicle capable of hauling siege engines.

I need someone to help me with a trailer , pickup, or good sized van. to get the foshaybuchet over to powerhorn between 9 am and 11 am, and out of the park again at 7 pm.

If you're willing and able to help, please let me know, and if you know of anyone who's a possibility, please forward my contact info on to them.

Let me know, and thanks.

I think this is another awesome opportunity to promote our space.

Riley -

I'm already committed to helping with something tomorrow (and today, I
have a brother working on a Northern Spark project) but if no one else is
available I could make this work - maybe earlier in the morning if
possible?

Erik

PS: Make some wooden wheels for those suckers and a trailer hitch :)

Hey Erik.

Thanks so much for offering to help.

I now have the trip from the hack factory to the park in the morning locked in.

I might be looking for a ride back to the shop in the evening, I'm not certain.

I very much want to build the next trebuchet right on  a utility trailer.

What's your brothers Northern Spark project?

Riley

On my list of things to do.  I mean to ask him how a bike can handle a 400 pound payload, in addition to myself.

I actually don't know :) He's being secretive. All I know is that I'm
loaning him two big deep cycle batteries and some cabling.

I might be able to make the evening run too.

Erik, it looks like I'm still in need of some help in.making the.return trip happen.
If you are willing and able to do this, let me know, the sooner I have everything locked in, the sooner I can stop stressing, lol.

Sure. I am going to be up on the north side (junk yard) most of the day,
but I think I can be back by 7-ish. Just email me directly @
er...@greendragon.org with instructions on where to pick you up (no need to
bore the rest of the group) :)
