Some people I know are working on a new VR project called Oculus Rift, a virtual reality device that was funded by a Kickstarter.
We are going to have a bit of a virtual reality development brainstorming session Wednesday (5/22) night (follow this Eventbright link). I think all areas of virtual reality and human-computer interaction are fair game, not just the Oculus Rift device. If you are interested in that stuff then please attend! I'm not sure if we will be getting into DIY human implants yet though.

Correction: The Oculus Rift event is for Wednesday, May 29th, not the 22nd. Sorry about the date mix up. See you at Robot Shop of Horrors this Friday night (5/24) at 7pm.
