PRACTICE SHEETS

All band members have received an instrument specific practice sheet.  After each sectional lesson, students will have their weekly assignments written on their practice sheets.  Everyday that the student practices the assignments at home, their parents are to initial in the appropriate daily box for verification purposes. Although there may be more than one assignment given in a week, parents only need to initial once per day indicating that the student has practiced.  Students are to bring the initialed practice sheets to their next scheduled sectional lessons.  Miss Demby will collect and review the practice sheets on a weekly basis.  The students will get a new practice sheet every week

PIZZA PARTY

The band students are working together toward a band pizza party on February 24.  Over the next 4 weeks, all students are to practice a minimum of 16 times (for ex. 4 times per week). In order for the band students to get the pizza party, ALL students must meet the minimum requirement of practicing at least 16 times between January 21 – February 17.  The parent must initial each day that the student practices in order for that practice day to count.

Students must hand in their practice sheets on the day of their sectional lessons.  If the practice sheets are turned in more than 1 day late, it will not count.
