Tompkins County's Coordinated Public Transit - Human Service Transportation Plan (Ithaca, NY). The planning objective is to develop integrated communty transportation services, targeted to meet needs of low-income households, people with disabilities and senior citizens, as well as the general public through public-private partnerships. This planning process is not only a good idea, it's a requirement of the Federal Transit Administration to apply for Sec 5310 Elderly & Individuals with Disabilities Program,  Sec 5316 Job Access & Reverse Commute and Sec 5317 New Freedom Programs under SAFETEA-LU. 

We created this Google Group to serve the Coordinated Planning effort to coordinate communications, access planning resources and files, and to solicit input from the public.

Please share your suggestions to improve or expand transportation services: TCAT bus, taxi, Intercity bus, ride-sharing, etc.
