Dear Community Members,

This year’s theme for the cultural booth at the festival is “Languages” and
we are planning an elaborate presentation.  The following items will be v.
helpful to us:

 1) Styrofoam Slices/Flat Pieces: Any size; any thickness

2) Pictures of prominent Bengali writers / cultural figures: Tagore, Najrul,
Lalon, Hason Raja, Begum Rokeya, Jashimuddin, etc.

3) Bangla letters or words: On clothing items or in framed paintings (or for
that matter in any decorative form)

4) Books by or about famous Bengali writers / cultural figures

5) All others: We will consider any other artifacts that you think will
provide an interesting insight into our language

Of course, all items (except 1 above) will be considered a loan.

We will need the items soon, as we have started working on the cultural
booth construction.

If you can help, please bring the item/s to the Raleigh Masjid this Sunday
September 27th at 1:30PM (near the main entrance). I will be there to meet
