TBSNC Boishakhi Celebration, May 30, 2009

Children's Art Competition

We are encouraging children under the age of 12 to participate in an
art competition during the celebration. We will have two groups:
1) children under 8 and 2) children 8 to under 12.

Children of both groups will be provided papers and crayons and they
will be requested to remain in a single location and paint. The
painting period will be between 3P-5:30P. A panel of judges will
review the paintings and select three best paintings from each of the
two age groups. The top three painters in each group will receive
a small gift.

We have two themes and both are based on “Bangladesh”

           1) “Nature in Bangladesh” for the group under 8
           2) “Culture in Bangladesh” for the group between 8 and 12

We encourage all eligible children to participate. Please encourage
your
children and assist them in preparing for the competition (you may
consider searching with them for images on the web). The event will
remain open for participation between 3-5:30P.
