Releasing first beta of Thunderbird 5.0 - ETA Thursday

Hi all,

After a couple of chats today, I'm happy to say that I think we can
release 5.0b1 build 2 tomorrow as the first beta for 5.0. There's a few
rough edges still that we can fix up for the next beta, but I think
we're pretty much on track now.

Rafael and I are working on the web site side of things, so hopefully
that'll be fixed up and ready by early PDT tomorrow.

I forgot a bit... for those who develop extensions, 5.0b1 and 5.0b2pre
have been added to AMO for max versions. We'll be talking to the AMO
guys to get the 5.* version added in the next few days.
