Bug 564148 – Key "Thunderbird in the enterprise" bugs [meta]

created to increase focus on key Thunderbird issues that affect
enterprises, and of course to help drive these bugs to resolution. And a
meta bug makes it easier for you to track the addition and resolution of
the selected bugs, simply by CCing yourself to the meta.

You are encouraged to help by adding blocking bugs that meet the
criteria defined in the meta bug. And for bugs which do not meet the
criteria, please handle them in the appropriate venues, which may
include discussing them here in tb-enterprise.

Coming up on the three year anniversary of this bug :) it seems
appropriate to do a followup post.

Many of the bugs in the meta have been fixed [1] - which is great!

Many are yet to be fixed [2] - which is hope for the future.

With 700+ gung ho interested subscribe here on tb-enterprise, I'm
casting a "please volunteer" net - if you know of someone who might be
able to help (including yourself of course), please direct them to one
of the bugs [2]. Comment in the bug for help and/or ask on mozilla IRC -
http://search.mibbit.com/channels/Mozilla - in #maildev channel.

Notable in the list are ldap and network related performance issues.
ldap issues may require someone familiar with ldap. But for the later
and many other bugs, we just need a warm body to do code.

Please help jump start these bugs toward resolution!
