Subject: TaskJuggler III 0.0.5 has been released
The last 3 months were pretty busy with regards to TJ3 development.
Many bugs have been fixed, but also many new features were added. The
most noticeable one is the new time sheet and status reporting
framework.

To learn more about TaskJuggler III, please see the manual at
http://www.taskjuggler.org/tj3/manual/index.html.

TaskJuggler III is written in Ruby and can be used on Linux, all Unix
variants, Windows and MacOS. If you have Ruby (>=1.8.6 or >=1.9.2) and
RubyGems (>=1.3.5) already installed, installing TaskJuggler III is as
easy as typing

 gem install taskjuggler

as root or administrator. To update an existing TJ3 version just type

  gem update taskjuggler

Detailed installation instructions can be found at
http://www.taskjuggler.org/tj3/manual/Installation.html#Installation.

This release intents to gather feedback regarding the new syntax
features and to find conceptual problems. All problems should be
reported on the bug mailinglist:
http://groups.google.com/group/taskjuggler-bugs.TaskJuggler III is not
yet a full replacement of TaskJuggler 2.x. But
users are encouraged to use TaskJuggler III to plan their migration.

More than 1000 users have downloaded the 0.0.4 release directly from
rubygems.org alone. This is very promising and the few complaints we
got on the mailing lists are a good indicator of the quality of the
TJ3 code base. The feedback is important and valued a lot. Please join
the TaskJuggler community with your contributions on the list.

Happy Juggling,
Chris
