Tasker restarts itself.
Also ah you're right. It appears it's the Root actions. How do I get Tasker to re-request root privileges?

Btw, the icon request still is valid...

It was never possible, Android doesn't allow it.

Hi there,I'm pretty new to Tasker, so I hope this isn't just a simple a user error. Have looked for similar topics but haven't seen any.I experience this in both the released 4.0u1 (Google play) and the 4.0u2 beta. The phone is a Galaxy Nexus with stock Android 4.2.2. Happens during Tasker managed tasks and in apps exported with App Factory. The problem: When I use "Variable Query" to get user input, the input window sometimes just flash one time on the screen as a black square for a very short time and then disappear. When this happens it will skip to the next action in the task list. Sometimes the black square will stay on screen instead of a quick flash. See attached screenshot.I can't seem to find a pattern in this problem. I set up a test task containing 10 numbered "Variable Query" to see what would happen. Sometimes it skipped a few actions (I saw both the flashing square and the staying square), sometimes it went through the list flawlessly.I hope my description of the problem isn't too fuzzy to understand... Is this a known problem, or maybe a simple user error after all?
