Hi!
Does anybody know a possibility to open Google Navigation directly in
the map view (without having entered a destination)
When I start Google Navigation I come to the black main screen where I
can define a destination. When I have no GPS, I have to wait until
satellites track. Then I use the button on the right top to switch to
the map view, just for seeing the traffic infos and the surrounding.
It would be awesome to do this automatically.

PS: I dont' know... Maybe Google Navigation has a kind of startup
parameters? Or someone has an idea for simulated clicks on the
elements?

With this I will only be able to open Google Maps and not Google
Navigation. And same with navigation will result in that the app
starts, as default, in the menu with the four big button for
configuring a destination.
Thats the point. I want Google Navigation and directly to the map
view. (not google maps)

In the drop down list at the very top of this action, change the mode to "Navigate to"

Ah.. now I got that you _don't_ want the navigation mode to start automatically...
Maybe you could combine my previous suggestion with some Dpad input actions then (e.g. press back or menu to switch to map view), providing your phone is rooted?
