Diaable Secure Keyguard

With an SGS2 I use the "draw pattern" keyguard to secure / lock the
phone.

This means that the bluetooth button ion my car handsfree doesn't
work, so I set up a tasker profile to disable Keyguard when the
bluetooth is active.

This seems to work (the phone turns on straight into the home screen)
but the bluetooth button still doesn't work. From a system log I see:

in startVoiceCommandActivity(), Secure lock is in enabled. Do nothing.

Apparently, although the keyguard has gone, the secure aspect still
remains. Is there an alternative that will work?

I don't know if this is an answer or if this will even help but this sound similar to a security setting in my DroidX Location and Security Settings. It's labeled "Allow Bluetooth bypass". It says "Allow voice commands to be launched via Bluetooth multi-function burron while device is locked". Look for a similar setting in your phone and see if that helps any.
