Just posting to let you know of a new entry on (in?) the Tasker Wiki.  The new getFormattedDate entry is a task that can be used to get a formatted date, given a date (seconds) and a format string.  This is similar to the Variable Convert options "Seconds to Date Time", "seconds to Medium Date Time", and "Seconds to Long Date Time", and can be used in place of these options, but it allows you complete control over the format of the resulting string.  Examples of formatted date strings include 15 Apr 2013, Monday April 15 2013, and 2013/04/15.

I've updated the Wiki Page and task to include the ability to specify HH to get a 2-digit hour (24 hours).

Nice....  :)

BTW... I recently recommended this task To another group member And it seems to be working perfectly for him. However I had a very hard time finding it. I had to search back to some old post to find the correct link. When I went to the wiki Using the link in tasker under 'menu' I could not find it.. Here is the link I used...

If you scroll over "Other Items" on the wiki, a list will open with a few things, "Tasks" included.

Thanks for this Uncle Mike, just saw this today and I'm sure it will be usefull
