Voice Control Update

If you are one of those that love voice control and hadn't found the time or method to do everything you like, go try out Utter in the market. It's free and still being developed with more features. I could never find a good app for this, it was all cookie cutter crap. I am SO RELIEVED to find this one, you can set custom commands and it integrates with tasker VERY well.... what more could I want?

Not really...a question, just was excited to find it. Now I say "I'm at work" and it just runs that task for me. "I'm in the car". Etc... Can even create custom conversation phrases for it to recognize. Nice. Utter....I love you.

You might try it. App was free. So far I'm loving it. Of course developer came from XDA and that's why it's not cookie cutter crap like the rest. It says "the first offline" but he hasn't got the offline part working yet. It's faster than the voice control "jeanie" I was using before so whatever. I love the custom command feature.

I'm wondering how hard it would be to get it to fire off when i pressed my headset button. This is probably a job for Tasker

with Tasker itself U can build Your own voice commands set. With ability to lock|unlock media buttons it became powerful tool

I believe it has a built in feature to use the headset? Most voice control apps have that, only this one would go directly to a tasker task if you want. You don't even have to set it up, just say "Run task (task name)" lol. Awesome

Of course there are many ways to do voice with just tasker, but this takes a lot of the work out and doesn't really sacrifice anything because of it. Has a nice UI, can "float" the commands box wherever you want when you need to see it, can do a lot. I really like it. ;D
