I am having problems getting Tasker to respond to Proximity Sensor States.

I have tried a simple task Proximity Sensor > Flash "Proximity" and covered the top of my phone and nothing happens, I have also tried inverting the state and still get nothing (after covering and uncovering the top of my phone)

I know the proximity sensor is working as the phone screens turns on / off properly if I cover the sensor during a call.

Do I need to do anything to calibrate the sensor for tasker?

This is on 2.3 stock.

Cheers

Hmm this seems to have been fixed by disabling and re enabling Tasker this also sorted a synker profile that wasn't firing (a phone reboot didn't do anything) not sure if this is a bug in the latest beta? If I create another proximity profile another disable / enable is needed for it to work..

Cheers

I couldn't reproduce that with the beta. I'd like to look further but
I just don't have time ATM, sorry.

No problem, posted it in case anyone else was having a similar problem more than anything else!
