The writer there, aka me, is using a custom 4.1.2 ROM. Haven't heard of that issue before, but it sounds peculiar, as most of the time there's a setting for it in the Secure Settings plug-in if something has been removed from stock Tasker. A warning is also common in such cases. It would explain why so many have trouble with this profile though...
On a sidenote, this is exactly why I hate posting complete instructions, as it creates the expectation that something will work beyond my phone, whereas the reality is that it might not.

I've attempted the recently posted article on Pocketables that mimics the "Wave to Answer" feature on the Galaxy S4. I was having issues getting it to answer the phone, and wittled the problem down to "Take Call" not working ( I created a profile/task to simply answer the phone after 3 seconds to test that portion). Searching through this group, I see that there were issues with Gingerbread and Google locking out that functionality. However, I'm curious because they have it working in that Pocketables article, so is it supposed to be working in ICS now? The writer there uses an SII apparently, and I don't know what version of Android that is.
If the Take Call option is still not working post-Gingerbread, is it just there for legacy phones? Perhaps a warning popup might mention that of that is the case?
Thanks
