can somebody tell me what criteria (in a rom) could affect the
activation of a profile through an app context?
the other contexts work. and i'd like to ask the rom developer what he
has changed in the latest build, but i would need some starting point
or clue for the app context not working (e.g. the way apps 'broadcast'
their activation in a rom??).

thanks alot.

I had the same problem... It's a installation fail of the rom! Try to
reinstall it...

I have to confirm that Application Context is not working on Motorola
Milestone with CM7 build (i have cm-7.0.0-RC3-0.07-11.03.12 rom).
Tasker installed fine, but even simple scenario with app context does
not works.
I created the following profile: When start Browser, turn Bluetooth
ON. And it is not working :(
But, for instance, scenario "When Keyboard Out, turn Bluetooth ON"
works.

same problem too, newest version of CM7.

doesnt recognize any app starts...
i heard somewhere that this might have to do with the memory
management and the different OOM groupings? i recall that CM7 changed
something there... maybe Tasker simply can´t "see" the started apps as
foreground apps like it used to?

Nevermind, I see it in your other thread.

Sorry, for clarification and easy searching:

The Application context and %LAPP (Last app) variable both started
working for me in Cyanogenmod 7 when I unticked "Lock home in memory"
and "Lock messaging app in memory" in the performance settings section
of the Cyanogenmod Settings.
