Subject: Plugin for loading remote web pages (with fallback)
Dear Taplynxers,

I would like to share a Plug-in for TapLynx.

Background: I needed a way to display remote web pages within a tab.
The functionality currently provided by TapLynx is not satisfactory
for a couple of reasons:
- it only loads local resources
- it does not respect the title nor the background image in the
navigation controller
- it allows for scrolling of the page (something you may not want for,
let's say, an About page)
- and some minor grievances.

For this reason I programmed a new ViewController that can:
a) display a local page (with custom base-url)
b) display a remote page (with custom base-url) and fall-back to a
local page if fetching fails
c) apply title and background image to the titlebar
(NavigationController)
d) inherit the standard customization options defined by TapLynx and
allows for more over the same mechanism (e.g. NCConfig.plist)

You can download it at http://www.oneoverzero.net/taplynx/OOZWebView.zip

Feel free to rant or rave by replying to this post.
--R.

P.S. And if I could get an answer by Brent (or someone else) on the
issues I raised in my previous posts, I would be glad.
