All,

Apologies in advance for cross-posting. This was sent to the AVR
Compiler group but I think that it might also be of interest to the
TamBots.

This Saturday's code sprint conflicts with the Tampa Linux and OSS
MeetUp. We can't beat them so we're going to join them! That meeting
starts at 10:00 AM on Sat. Dec 12th, 2009. The location is J.
Christopher's 14366 N Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, FL 33618 and the phone
number of the restaurant is 813-908-7023. I've been to a couple of
these Linux MeetUps in the past and they are a good group. They are
also really helpful (I'm hoping to get some help switching to
proprietary graphics drivers at this meeting).

Bruce and I will both be at the Linux meeting at 10. We are also
planning to split off (around noon) to 1) compile the Blinky project
2) copy it to my older Arduino Diecimila using AVR Dude 3) enjoy Das
Blinkenlights! This will be my first time using AVR Dude so I'm
really looking forward to learning that. Bruce is also going to give
a primer on Machine Language (i.e. we're going to look a the .HEX that
gets written to the AVR chip and try to understand how these static
bits become dynamic actions within the AVR processor).

J. Christopher's has a great breakfast, a private meeting room, and
that room should be populated with some interesting folks. I hope
that you can join us!

Cheers,
Dan Dye
